- 🧑🤝🧑 Strong nursing and clinical support
👥 Patient Population
- 🧓 Adult & Geriatric patients
- 📊 Case Mix:
- 65% Benign Hematology
- 35% Malignant Oncology
- 0% Internal Medicine
📈 Daily Patient Volume
- 🩺 Outpatient: ~25 patients/day
- 🏥 Inpatient (rounding/call): ~20 patients/day
🧠 Clinical Responsibilities
- 🧬 Outpatient & Inpatient Oncology care
- 🧩 Participation in Tumor Board
- 🧪 Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
- 🩸 Blood Bank oversight
- 📝 Ordering tests & imaging
- 💊 Prescribing medications
- 💉 Chemotherapy administered by Oncology Nursing staff
⏰ Call Schedule
- 🚫 No call required during locum assignment
- 📅 If converted to permanent: Call is 1 week every 6–8 weeks
