Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking an experienced Head & Neck Surgical Oncologist to serve as Chief, Section of Head & Neck Surgery within our Division of Surgery. This is a distinguished leadership role within a rapidly expanding, fully integrated cancer program aligned with the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Clinical and operational leadership of a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons with microvascular flap expertise

Work alongside medical oncology, radiation oncology, reconstructive surgery, pathology, radiology, speech therapy, genetic counseling, survivorship, and more

Responsibilities

Provide vision and strategic direction for the Head & Neck Surgery Section

Recruit, mentor, and supervise faculty surgeons

Lead quality, safety, and performance initiatives

Strengthen multidisciplinary collaboration and patient access across Baptist Health
-
Maintain an active surgical practice in head & neck oncology

Engage in clinical research, education, and MD Anderson Cancer Network® initiatives
Candidate Qualifications
-
Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery

Fellowship training in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology (microvascular experience preferred)

Minimum 5 years post-fellowship experience with demonstrated leadership achievements

Strong academic, clinical, and program-building track record

Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical license and DEA
