An integrated, academic health system in Central New York is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Surgical Oncologist to join a dynamic and collaborative team. This system serves an eight-county region and includes multiple hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and community-based health centers. The position is based in a scenic lakefront community offering a vibrant lifestyle and easy access to major Northeastern cities including Albany, Syracuse, Boston, New York City, and Philadelphia.
Position Highlights:
* Join a well-established group of 15 surgeons and 6 advanced practice clinicians
* Expand and complement existing programs treating:
* Hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancer
* Esophageal and gastric cancer
* Endocrine cancer
* Skin cancer and sarcoma
* Work in a certified cancer treatment center with multiple regional sites for diagnostic and treatment services
* Practice in a 180-bed primary hospital with a Level III Trauma Center
* Built-in referral base from over 500 network clinicians
* Collaborate with a full support staff, including APCs, surgical residents, and medical students
* Regional travel required for patient care
* State-of-the-art ORs with robotic capabilities (DaVinci system)
Compensation & Incentives:
* Base Salary: $475,000 - $625,000
* Performance-Based Bonus: No earnings cap; incentives may significantly enhance income, with upside potential in year one
* Sign-On Bonus: Up to $100,000
* Group-Employed Model

Qualifications:
* MD, DO, or MBBS
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery and/or Surgical Oncology
* NYS Medical Licensure (or eligibility)
* BLS and DEA certification required
