The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified or equivalent breast surgical oncologist to join our comprehensive and growing team.

Yale Medicine has a wide referral network of primary and specialty care physicians and is one of the largest health systems in the country along with being a top 10 medical school. Candidates will have exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to make academic contributions to the field of breast oncological surgery.

Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities will include working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary breast cancer program at the Smilow Cancer Center, in Greater New Haven and network sites. In addition to clinical duties, our faculty members provide educational training to medical students, residents, and fellows and actively contribute to our research goals. Applicants should expect to work in a friendly environment with collegial and supportive administration. This position is an opportunity to join a growing faculty and build a robust practice in a thriving community in Connecticut.

Qualifications

Our division of surgical oncology currently has over 20 faculty members, with a vibrant clinical, research and educational portfolio. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Surgery with passion for team-based clinical care, surgical education, and program development are preferred.
