Piedmont Healthcare is currently recruiting a board certified/board eligible Oncologist specializing in the management of sarcoma patients for its flagship Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta Ga. The ideal candidate will help to develop a multidisciplinary sarcoma program that provides cutting edge medical, surgical, and radiation oncology care to our patients, as well as develop an active clinical trials program. The hospital currently has a very active surgical oncology specializing in sarcoma and a growing orthopedic oncology practice specializing in soft tissue and orthopedic tumors. The hospital has cutting edge radiation oncology services, gynecologic oncology services as well as other highly developed subspecialized surgical care.

The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician as well as committed to work with the multidisciplinary team. The candidate must have great communication skills and genuine compassion for the patients as well as patients’ family/support teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in an outpatient clinic, multidisciplinary care, clinical research, and tumor boards.
