📍 Location: Michigan (650-bed hospital, Level II Trauma Center)

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: 3 neurosurgeons, 4 neurologists, neuroradiologists, and physiatrists

• Perform a wide range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures

• Preference for candidates with neuroendovascular surgery training or experience

• High-acuity environment:

  • Level II Trauma Center

  • ~100,000 ED visits annually

  • 10-bed dedicated Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit

  • Active Primary Stroke Center, working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center status

• Access to advanced neuroimaging, surgical navigation systems, and diagnostics

• Participate in stroke rehab services through Mary Free Bed joint venture (inpatient rehab + neuropsych consults)

📝 Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery (within 0–5 years of residency) – REQUIRED

• MD or DO degree – REQUIRED

• Proven experience in cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures – REQUIRED (must be documented in submission notes)

• Fellowship or experience in neuroendovascular surgery – Highly Preferred

• Active Michigan medical license or in process – REQUIRED
