We are currently seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Locum - Physician - Surgery - Neuroendovascular , CO
Start Date: As soon as credentialed! Schedule: 24-hour call, 7a-7a. Sporadic weekend stints
Position Overview:
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7AM - 7AM)
Facility is preferably looking for a Neurosurgeon with endovascular capabilities.
Provider must be able to do thrombectomies and clippings so they do not have to transfer the patient.
Heavy surgical emphasis
Will not accept a Neuro interventional radiologist.
Provider must be Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
100% adult
50% trauma
100% inpatient
0-5 hospital-based patients per day
Support Staff: Dedicated CNS for the practice M-F day shift. General Neurosurgery APPs are available at night for general questions from staff. New consults will be dealt by a call neuroendovascular surgeon.
Surgery volume expected while on call? Average number of patients or hours? This varies at a given time.
Must be comfortable with open endovascular procedures, but most procedures are done in the interventional/cath lab.

~90 day credentialing timeframe
Will pay for full travel
Requirements:
Board Certified Neurological Surgery ABNS, NES - REQUIRED
Active CO license or IMLC - REQUIRED
ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), DEA - REQUIRED
