The Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Missouri is seeking outstanding candidates for a clinical faculty position specializing in pediatric surgery. Promoted ranks higher than Assistant Professor are negotiable and contingent upon qualifications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable doing Epilepsy surgery.

Surgeons at University Hospital performed the first open-heart procedure in mid-Missouri in 1958. Since that time, the hospital has become well-known as one of the state’s most active and respected cardiothoracic referral centers

The Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with a completed fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure track or tenure/tenure track). Responsibilities will include providing clinical services to the Neurological Surgery pediatric patient population, with the option of adult coverage; Participation in general and pediatric neurosurgery on-call coverage; Contributing to resident selection and evaluation; Participation in resident education through supervision in the clinical setting and operating room, as well as through academic curriculum development; Other actives include participation in medical student education, as well as involvement in clinically relevant research and scholarship. Fulfillment of other duties as assigned by division chief. Compensation and Benefits:
