Job Responsibilities

• Provide neurological surgery care during 24-hour beeper call shifts
• Conduct required procedures, including VP shunt placements, spinal surgeries with instrumentation, and placement of ICP monitors
• Deliver trauma care in a Level 2 trauma setting
• Engage in general neurosurgery and tumor removal as required

Qualifications

• Active medical license and DEA
• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS

Working Hours

• 14-21 shifts per month, 24-hour beeper call

Skills

• Proficiency in general neurosurgery, particularly spinal surgery with and without instrumentation
• Ability to perform VP shunt procedures and manage ICP monitors
• Experience with adult trauma cases
• Preferred skills in neuroendocrine surgery and tumor management
