Med Ninjas is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for locum tenens coverage at a hospital in Lima, Ohio.

The facility needs a physician who can cover the complete block from September 24 through October 5, 2026.

• Operating Rooms: 10
• EMR: Epic
• Travel: Lodging and standard travel reimbursement available
• Privileges: Emergency or temporary privileges may be considered

Required Procedures and Skills

• Adult and trauma Neurosurgery
• Clot removal and aneurysm repair
• Tumor removal and brain-bleed management
• Trauma repair
• Cranial burr holes
• Intracranial pressure monitor insertion
• Shunt insertion, revision, and reprogramming
• Ventricular taps and ventriculostomy
• Traumatic brain injury and neurocritical care
• Stereotactic radiosurgery
• Deep brain stimulation
• Discectomy and laminectomy
• Spinal fusion
• Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty
• Spine stabilization and reconstruction

Requirements

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Active Ohio medical license or active IMLC
• Active BLS
• Active ACLS
• Availability for the complete September 24 to October 5 coverage block
• Flu vaccination required during credentialing
• COVID-19 vaccination preferred

The estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 to 90 days.
