Locums – Tampa, Florida, Neurosurgeon
Availability
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage: 5–7 days per month
- Preferred Schedule: 5 consecutive days
- Hours: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time: Within 30 minutes
- Florida License: Required
- IMLC: Accepted
- Board Certified Neurosurgeon: Required
- ACLS: Required
- BLS: Required
- PALS: Required
- Trauma Level: II
- EMR: Cerner
- Patients per Shift: Varies
- Coverage Location: In-house Neurocare
- Outpatient clinic coverage
- OR coverage
- In-house call coverage
- Transfer Center calls
- Timely response to ER calls
- Document plan in chart within 30 minutes
- Cover emergency and urgent cases
- Non-emergent cases referred
- After-hours calls beginning at 5:00 PM for outpatient cases
- Provide phone consultation for after-hours questions
- Sign out and hand off to incoming physicians
