Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: April 30, 2026 8:30am - May 5 8:30am (can start 5/1 8:30am); June 1 8:30am - June 8 8:30am; more dates to be offered. Weekdays: clinic and on call 8:30am-5pm (regular hourly rate), night call 5pm-8:30am (night call rate). Weekends: 24-hour call coverage. Guaranteed 8 hours per day, OT after 9 hours per day.
• Job Setting: Hospital, Level 3 Trauma Center
• Types of Cases: Complex spine cases, general neurosurgery (adult), trauma, spinal surgery with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), placement of ICP monitors. Preferred: tumors, VP shunt, application of external traction. Provider will cover both clinic and call coverage.
• Credentialing: 90 days average. RFA due within 48-72 hours, hospital privilege application due within 5 business days. Provider must submit 100 cases within the past 24 months specific to privileges being requested. All specialties require 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty. Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Must be Board Certified. Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency is an option but Board Certified is preferred. Provider must have a clean file.
• Certifications: FLURO certification required (temporary FLURO acceptable). Fellowship required.
• Licensure: Active CA License and CA DEA
