One of our clients in Illinois needs assistance with Neurosurgery locum tenens coverage.
Here are some of the details.
- Location: East Central Illinois; close to Champagne, Il
- Facility: hospital 509 bed facility, based. EMR-EPIC
- Schedule: One full week (Monday 7a-Monday 7a) per month, ongoing. Scheduled consists of M-F 7a-5p, weeknight call 5p-7a, weekend 24-hour call Friday 5p-Monday 7a
- Setting: Hospital; coverage at multiple facilities. Inpatient, and EMR-EPIC
- Details: average 7 consults per day, average surgical cases 4-8 a week,
- Required Procedures: General neurosurgery including management of cranial and spinal trauma, intracranial hemorrhage, placement of external ventricular drains, treatment of hydrocephalus, craniotomy for evacuation of hematomas or tumors, and spinal procedures such as decompressions and instrumentation as indicated.
- Certifications: BC/BE, active IL license, and 6 hours of stroke-specific CME over a rolling 2-year period.
