Job Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
  • Provide trauma-related neurosurgical coverage
  • Interpret advanced imaging including MRI, CT, and angiography
  • Deliver inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with neurology, neurointerventional, and critical care teams
  • Participate in call rotation typical of a Level II Trauma Center
  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship initiatives

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (within 5 years of residency)
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Eligible for or active Michigan medical license
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex neurosurgical procedures
  • Eligible for DEA registration and required state certifications prior to start
