Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
- Provide trauma-related neurosurgical coverage
- Interpret advanced imaging including MRI, CT, and angiography
- Deliver inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care
- Collaborate with neurology, neurointerventional, and critical care teams
- Participate in call rotation typical of a Level II Trauma Center
- Contribute to teaching and mentorship initiatives
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery (within 5 years of residency)
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Eligible for or active Michigan medical license
- Demonstrated expertise in complex neurosurgical procedures
- Eligible for DEA registration and required state certifications prior to start
