Job description
A Level I Trauma hospital in Ohio is seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon for urgent and emergent call coverage. This is a high-acuity setting with ongoing need.
📅 Coverage Need:

March 3–10 (Required – no exceptions)

24-hour call
-
1 week per month, ongoing potential
-
Schedule: 8–12 hour in-house + call coverage
-
Avg. 1–2 emergent surgical cases per day

Adult & Geriatric population (emergent ED cases)

EMR: Epic
-
1 employed + 1 non-employed Neurosurgeon

Neuro IR in-house
🧠 Required Procedures:
Neurosurgery (Adult & Trauma):

Brain bleed stoppage

Clot removal
-
Tumor removal
-
Trauma repair
-
Shunt insertion/revision
Spine Surgery:

Spine stabilization & reconstruction
-
Vertebroplasty / Kyphoplasty

Spinal fusion
-
Laminectomy
-
Diskectomy
💰 Rates:

On-call daily rate

Call-back rate
✈️ Travel:

Lodging approx. $150/night
