Permanent – Physician – Neurosurgery
Location: Saginaw, Michigan
Position Type: Permanent

Shift: Varied (Full-time surgical & consultative coverage)
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult & Pediatric Neurosurgical patients
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient, Level II Trauma Center
Responsibilities:
- Perform full range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, assessments, and follow-up care
- Interpret advanced imaging (MRI, CT, angiograms)
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventional radiology, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Deliver patient-centered, high-quality surgical care
Required Procedures: Cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Multidisciplinary neurology/neurosurgery team with hospital support services
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Call rotation required consistent with Level II Trauma Center coverage
Submission Requirements:
- MD/DO from accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Neurosurgery
- Active Michigan license (or in process)
- DEA (prior to start)
- CSR/CDS (prior to start)
- NPDB report within 30–60 days
- H-1B visa support status required (H-1B only)
- Proven neurosurgical expertise
