Neurological Surgery locums opportunity in Illinois offering Level I trauma coverage with flexible block scheduling and a fast start option.
Highlights
- Level I trauma call coverage
- Flexible blocks including week long or alternating rotations
- Ongoing locums need with coverage blocks still available
Practice Setting
- Inpatient neurosurgery service at a Level I trauma center
- Collaborative environment with trauma, critical care, and hospitalist teams
- Daytime nurse practitioner support
Schedule
- 24 hour call with defined response time
- Options for two weeks on and two weeks off
- Shorter blocks considered for availability
Cases and Procedures
- Bread and butter neurosurgery
- Trauma and emergency neurosurgical consults
- Broad inpatient case mix
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon
- Active Illinois medical license
- BLS, ACLS, and CSR required
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage provided
