Opportunity Highlights
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery at a Level 1 trauma center
• 24-hour call coverage with 30-minute response time; includes rounding on inpatients
• Outpatient clinic scheduled for 8 hours and night call responsibilities
• Bread-and-butter neurosurgery with trauma cases
• Flexible schedule – 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off; providers with 1 week availability considered
• NPs onsite 7am–7pm and collaborative environment with trauma, critical care and hospitalist teams
• Travel and lodging support provided
• EMR: Epic
Licensure
• Must hold an active Illinois medical license
• MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery
• Minimum two years post-training experience preferred
• DEA required; IMLC candidates not accepted

Qualifications
Active Illinois medical license and unrestricted DEA
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery
At least two years of post-training experience preferred
Comfortable managing Level 1 trauma cases and mixed inpatient/outpatient workload
Able to commit to a 2‑week on / 2‑week off schedule (1-week blocks considered)
