Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Neurosurgery Physician to join our healthcare team with a Level II Trauma Center located in Minot, ND. This is a coverage position for 1 week per month (24 hour call during scheduled week). You can expect to see about 12-15 patients per day.
The pay range starts at $4000-$4500/24hr call shift (includes 2-6 gratis hours)
Additional call back rate starts at $500-550/hour

Job Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient consults
- Manage trauma and non-trauma neurosurgical cases
- Collaborate with onsite neurosurgeons, clinical leadership, and support staff
- Perform procedures and surgical interventions appropriate to candidate background
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and clinical workflows
- Uphold hospital standards for safety, quality, and compliance
Qualifications
- Active ND medical license – Required
- IMLC candidates accepted with active LOQ at submission
- Strong neurosurgical call experience and comfort in a Level II Trauma setting
- Credentialing: 30–60 days (up to 90 days) | Temporary privileges available
Working Hours
24 hour call shift
Duration: January - December, 2026 (Earlier start dates will be considered)
Skills
- Compression fractures
- Spinal infections
- C-spine cases
- Craniotomy for subdural hematoma
- Spine and Aneurism clipping experience preferred
- Additional cranial and spine procedures (details confirmed with lead Neurosurgeon)
