A well-established healthcare organization in Jonesboro, AR is seeking an experienced Neurosurgeon to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of neurological and surgical care. The ideal candidate will perform advanced surgical procedures involving the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves, while providing both inpatient and outpatient care. This position offers the opportunity to participate in research, education, and service planning to enhance neurosurgical care delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Interpret diagnostic studies such as MRI, CT, EEG, myelograms, and cerebral angiograms.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and surgical plans.
• Perform surgical interventions for brain, spinal, and peripheral nerve conditions.
• Prescribe medications and guide post-operative rehabilitation and recovery.
• Manage inpatient consultations, admissions, operative reports, and discharge summaries.
• Contribute to service planning, research initiatives, and clinical training of junior staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
• Active state medical license and controlled substance certification.
• Proven clinical experience in neurosurgical care and operative procedures

Working Hours

Full-time schedule with inpatient and operative responsibilities; call coverage as required.
