StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a leading Healthcare System in North Central Florida to assist them with the recruitment of an experienced neurosurgeon to join a well-established spine surgery practice.

Practice Highlights and Qualifications:

- Provides a spine-focused practice with in-house imaging, physical therapy, and pain management
- Part of a larger orthopeadic surgery practice that includes over 40 orthopeadic surgeons across 10 office locations throughout North Central Florida
- Collaborate with another neurosurgeon, an orthopedic spine surgeon, and pain management physicians in private practice
- The practice offers a robust infrastructure and support
- The incoming surgeon will concentrate on spine surgery and should be comfortable with both general and complex spine procedures
- Experience is required
- Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in neurosurgery
- Hospital call includes general neurosurgery
Located a short 3.5 miles from the University of Florida campus, this hospital is a 510-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida. It offers a wide range of services including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, women's care and wound therapy. With a new tower that recently opened, the facility added an 18-bed MICU, a 30-bed Orthopedic Unit and a 30-bed Postpartum Unit. In addition, they opened a brand new 25-bed Level III NICU, expanding the hospital’s capabilities to care for sick and premature infants.
