Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to provide locum tenens coverage at a busy Level I Trauma Center in Arizona. This position involves 24-hour beeper call coverage with a steady trauma caseload. Providers must be comfortable managing a high-acuity environment with multiple surgeries per day.
Job Responsibilities
Manage approximately 6 patients per day
Perform an average of 6 trauma surgeries daily (no elective cases)
Collaborate with hospital staff in a fast-paced Level I Trauma environment
Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation
Qualifications
Active Arizona medical license required (IMLC considered)
DEA (registered in AZ) required
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years experience preferred in trauma neurosurgery
Working Hours
Sept 17 (7am) – Sept 22 (7am)
Sept 29 (7am) – Oct 5 (7am)
24-hour beeper call coverage
