Locum Physician - Neurosurgery - Lucas County, OH

Work with Greenstaff Medical, a premier medical staffing agency to fill a Neurosurgery position for an ongoing locum assignment in Lucas County, OH!

Job details:

• Coverage: 12/19/2025 – ongoing
• 2025: 12/19 – 12/25
• 2026: 1 week per month
• Schedule:
  • 24-hour call with onsite call back
  • 2 hours rounding in the morning (e.g., 8–10 AM)
  • Level 1 trauma center – hospital-only coverage
• Onsite Clinical Support:
  • 2 Neurosurgery APPs covering 6 AM – 6 PM
  • 1 Resident covering 6 PM – 6 AM
• Areas/Procedures:
  • General Neurosurgery - Adult, Trauma(required) Pediatric (preferred)
  • Tumors
  • Other Procedures - VP Shunt(preferred)
  • Spinal surgery w/ instrumentation - Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar (required)
  • Spinal surgery w/o instrumentation - Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar (required)
  • Placement of ICP monitors

You will not be eligible for this unless you meet the following requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Neurosurgery) – REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS – REQUIRED
• Must be available for December dates – REQUIRED
