We are seeking a board-certified Neurosurgeon for locum 24-hour call coverage (14 days/month). Provider must be proficient in both spinal and cranial procedures. The role includes emergent surgeries, rounding, and inpatient admits at a 202-bed regional referral hospital.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform emergent surgeries (spinal and cranial)
• Conduct inpatient rounding and manage admissions
• Collaborate with existing neurosurgery team and APPs
• Utilize Cerner EMR system
• Manage 5–10 inpatients per day
• Participate in orientation and comply with reverse invoicing (via DocTime)
Qualifications
• Active MI license or IMLC with a 100% clean background
• ACLS Certification – Required
• Fellowship trained with 2–3 years minimum post-training experience
• Experience in both spinal and cranial neurosurgery
Working Hours
• Schedule: 14 days per month
• Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Required
Skills
• Ability to respond to emergent surgical cases
• Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficient in Cerner EMR
• Strong decision-making and clinical judgment
