Job description
A Board-Certified Neurosurgeon with at least 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience is sought to provide locum tenens coverage at a Northern Michigan regional referral center.
- 100% Inpatient
- 14 days per month of call coverage
- 202-Bed Hospital
- Daily inpatient rounding, covering emergent surgeries and calls
- 5-10 inpatients per day.
- EMR - Cerner
Requirements:
-MI License - Active at time of application
-DEA
-BLS/ACLS
-Clean History
-2-3 years of experience
-Spinal and Cranial experience
Compensation, etc:
-Pleases call to discuss your rate requirements and availability
-We will be offereing a daily 24hr call rate to include 4hrs gratis, hourly call back, along with holiday pay at 1.5x regular rate
-Paid Training/Orientation
-Medical Malpractice Provided
-Travel Expenses such as airfare, lodging, rental car, or mileage are covered/reimbursable
-In-house credentialing coordinator and travel coordination provided
Practice in a four-season vacation area offering an abundance of freshwater lakes, world class alpine skiing, numerous kilometers of groomed cross-country trails, championship golf courses, all types of water sports and breathtaking autumn colors. The town is an active art and music community leading to very diverse and exciting opportunities to both watch and participate in music and theater. The historic downtown gaslight district has many top-notch restaurants, specialty shops and boutiques. The area is also known for being home to an upscale residential and resort community that has world class amenities.
