Neurosurgeon Opportunity with Iowa Clinic

Iowa Clinic is actively recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join our high-performing, patient-focused team. This is a rare opportunity to practice advanced neurosurgery in a collaborative, physician-led environment while enjoying the support and stability of a premier health system.

Position Highlights

  • Robust Referral Network: Benefit from a large, built-in referral base across our primary care clinics.
  • Collaborative Environment: Practice in a collegial setting with support from other Iowa Clinic Neurosurgeons throughout the region.
  • Comprehensive Support: Dedicated clinic staff, 1 first-assist PA, and a clinic-based advanced practitioner.
  • EPIC EMR: Fully integrated electronic health record across clinics and partner hospitals for seamless care coordination.

Practice Details

  • Average 20–25 patients/day during full clinic days
  • 8–10 surgical cases per week
  • 8 days of call/month with additional stipend available for extra call
  • Procedures include spinal surgeries, carpal tunnel release, neurostimulators, and pump implants
  • Team-focused approach with a commitment to improving the health of our communities

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. (H-1B cap-exempt)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Passionate about patient-centered care and clinical excellence
