Job description
A leading 650-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Central Michigan, is seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join its high-performing surgical team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a comprehensive healthcare system and teaching environment.
Job Responsibilities
You'll be interpreting advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, angiograms) to guide clinical decision-making and providing consultations, assessments, and follow-up care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The position also includes opportunities to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, while consistently delivering care with professionalism, empathy, and high surgical standards within a Level II Trauma Center.
Qualifications
-Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Neurosurgery. No exceptions.
-Michigan License: Must possess an active MI license or be in the process of obtaining one.
-Surgical Expertise: Proven expertise in performing neurosurgical procedures with excellent surgical skills.
