Position Overview

A well-established health system in Michigan is seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurosurgeon to join a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and contributing to a collaborative, academic, and technologically advanced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures

• Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists

• Interpret advanced imaging (MRI, CT, angiograms) to guide clinical decisions

• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, assessments, and follow-up care

• Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows

• Maintain a high standard of surgical care with professionalism and empathy

• Practice within a Level II Trauma Center supported by modern facilities and robust services

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school – Required

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurosurgery (within 5 years of residency) – Required

• Active Michigan medical license or in process – Required

• Demonstrated expertise in neurosurgical procedures and excellent surgical skills – Required
