- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 5-6 patients. This locum tenens Neurosurgery opportunity requires coverage one week per month—preferably the first week—starting in September, in addition to the following confirmed dates: February 14–26, 2026; May 1–4, 2026; November 21–December 3, 2026; and February 12–21, 2027. The schedule includes 24-hour hospital call for the entire week, with clinic hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Billing will be as follows: M/W/F are billed hourly from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (inclusive of the call requirement), with night call from 4:00 PM to 9:00 AM the following day—call back applies after zero hours. Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are billed as 24-hour call, inclusive of three patient contact hours. FLUORO certification is required; providers with temporary FLUORO licenses will be considered only if the license is valid through at least May 2026. If the assignment extends beyond that, a permanent FLUORO license will be required. While two providers alternating months may be considered, having a single provider for each month is highly preferred. All providers must be board-certified or board-eligible within three years of residency.

Job Responsibilities
* Conduct clinic hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* Respond to call backs as needed during night call and 24-hour shifts
* Deliver patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and neurosurgical standards
Qualifications
* Active California medical license required
* FLUORO certification required (temporary license acceptable if valid through May 2026 or longer; permanent license needed for extended coverage)
* Able to commit to scheduled dates and ongoing monthly coverage starting September
Working Hours
* Confirmed dates: February 14–26, 2026; May 1–4, 2026; November 21–December 3, 2026; February 12–21, 2027
* 24-hour hospital call throughout the assigned week
* Clinic days on M/W/F from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
