Locum Neuro Surgery Physician - CO

Our client in El Paso County, CO is in need of a Locum Neurosurgery Physician for an assignment!

Job details:

• Work Start Date: 05/05/2025
• 24 hour call (7a-7a)
• 7 shifts per month needed from all locums.
• Site will schedule providers a max of 7 consecutive days per stint.
• Facility Location: 2222 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80907
• Setting: Call, Inpatient, Emergency Room Trauma Level I
• FTE: 1.0
• Required Procedures/Job Duties: Surgical traumas (Cranial and Spine)
• EMR: EPIC
• Support Staff: RN, MA
• Reason for Coverage: A locum accepted another position and no longer available for April stint.
• Dealbreakers (Do Not Present): Lack of availability for requested dates.
  

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified Neurological Surgery - Required
• Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ at time of submission)
• Active DEA - Required for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
• Candidate must be available for any of the stints in the job description to be considered for the need - Required
• Must state # of shifts per month to offer ongoing - Required
• Completion of Neurosurgical residency - Required
• Must acknowledge candidate understands the EMR training requirements set forth in job description and will complete in this order to avoid missing their start date - Required
• Clean Malpractice/background – Required
