Location: Michigan (MI)

Schedule: 24-hour Call Shifts every weekend through 2024 & potentially into 2025

Call Schedule / Responsibilities:

• Weekend call only, 24-hour shifts
• Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during the day
• Consults with APPs, in-person or over the phone
• Independent coverage after 7pm
• Call back approximately 5-8 hours per 24 hours

Job Setting: Hospital

• Level 2 trauma center
• Spine instrumentation cases
• Required Procedures:

• • Spinal fusion for trauma
  • Craniotomy for trauma
  • External Ventricular Drain (EVD)
  • Intracranial Pressure (ICP) monitoring

• Helpful Skills:

• • Emergency Department surgical and clinical in-house patient coverage
  • ICU trauma and stroke management

• Preferred Experience: 5 years of neurosurgery

Neurosurgery Specialization: Spine required; aneurysm clippings not required

License Requirement: Active Michigan License

Vaccination Requirements: First 2 COVID vaccines & flu vaccine

EMR: EPIC
