LOCUM POSITION DETAILS #46728 – 1 hour west of Detroit, MI

DESCRIPTION:

· Fri (7a) – Mon (7a) – 24-hour call coverage. Dates – ongoing 2024-2025

· Call only:

o APPs during the day 7am – 7 pm

o After 7 pm, Physician works autonomously.

o Call back approximately 5-8 hours per a 24-hour period.

· Level II – Inpatient

· EMR: EPIC

· Procedures - required: Spinal fusion for trauma, craniotomy for trauma, EVD, ICP monitor.

o Helpful skills: ED surgical and clinical in-house patient coverage, ICU trauma and stroke management.

· Procedures – not required: Aneurysm clippings.

REQUIRED:

• MI state license; active, unrestricted.
• 5-year neurosurgery experience preferred.
• Certifications – by AOA or ABMS – BC
• COVID: First 2 COVID vaccines & flu vaccines

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)
