We are looking for Neurosurgery Locums coverage.

Quick Job Overview:

· Location: Houston TX

· Start Date: Once credentialed

· Daily Shift Requirements: 24 hour call coverage

· Practice Setting: Hospital

· Mixture of both spine and cranial, it is Level II trauma so need to be comfortable with trauma.
If cranial, is there an endovascular surgeon to support? – Yes, 24/7 endovascular support as Comprehensive Stroke Center
What are the typical cases they will be helping with? – primarily trauma neurosurgery
How many surgeons are they supporting? - 1 existing PSG neurosurgeon taking most of the other call
Is there a neuro critical care team? – Critical care intensivist physician inhouse 24/7

Requirements:

· Current State Medical License - Texas

· Board Certification/Board Eligible: BC or Board Eligible with experience

· DEA/CSR Requirements: Yes
