Spine Focused Neurosurgery Opportunity - Baltimore, MD
Operating within LifeBridge Health’s Sandra and Malcom Berman Brain & Spine Institute, Sinai Hospital is a 480-bed level II trauma center, part of the 3rd largest health system in Maryland. Sinai Hospital is certified by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and has a 36-bed intensive care unit offering an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care, including dedicated neuro-intensivists.
We are seeking a Spine focused Neurosurgeon to join our growing Comprehensive Spine Program. Join a group of 4 employed neurosurgeons, with fellowship training covering vascular and tumor, functional, peripheral nerve, and minimally invasive spine. Immediate volume with significant growth potential, currently complex cases are being referred out of the system and entire referral areas are being missed. No orthopedic spine surgery program at Sinai Hospital and one of the orthopedic spine surgeons in the system is retiring. Volume comes from 4 hospitals and nearby areas.

If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately
- MD from an accredited medical school
- Spine fellowship trained and board-eligible/certified in Neurosurgery
- Ability to successfully obtain Maryland medical license without restrictions
- Current DEA license
- Excellent communication skills and must work well in a team environment
- Employed, full-time position based at Sinai Hospital
- The Brain & Spine Institute has a collegial group of 4 Neurosurgeons, 15 Neurologists and over 25 APP’s
- Robust support staff
- 24/7 Neuro critical care service, 24/7 APP coverage at Sinai Hospital as first call
- Neurosurgery call coverage split between the team, 1 in 4
- EMR – Cerner
- O-arm and Medtronic Stealth S7
