Docstar is working with a client of ours that is looking for a Locum Neurosurgeon on a Locum Tenens basis.
Type of coverage: Bread & butter with Cranial
Coverage detail: 15 days of coverage per month to include 1-2 days of clinic, 1-2 days in OR and call coverage
Additional Staff: Ortho Spinal surgeon, APPs for support
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (hopefully by June 2023)
Patients: Average 40 surgeries in 6 months, 1 case every 6 days
EHR: Cerner

- June 16 (8am) – June 30 (8am)
- July 10 (8am) – July 20 (8am)
- July 20 (8am) – July 26 (8am)
- Aug 10 (8am) – Aug 18 (8am)
- Aug 18 (8am) – Aug 22 (8am)
- Aug 28 (8am) – Sep 6 (8am)
- Sep 21 (8am) – Sep 30 (8am)
- Sep 30 (8am) – Oct 9 (8am)
- Oct 26 (8am) – Nov 6 (8am)
- Nov 21 (8am) - Nov 28 (8am)
- Dec 6 (8am) – Dec 12 (8am)
- Dec 12 (8am) – Dec 19 (8am)
This need is hospital based and the locum will be on 24 hour call.
- Imaging, lab, procedure rooms, OR all on site. 1 Neurosurgeon, 1 Ortho-spinal surgeon and Neurosurgery APPs will be in clinic.
- Board certified providers only please
- The facility can privilege a clean provider in 10 days from receipt of application.
- Providers can plan to see 5 inpatients per day.
