Ten Hour Surgicalist Shift Coverage in Arkansas | General Surgery Locums Job

Jackson & Coker is partnered with an Arkansas facility in need of a General Surgeon (must comfortable with level 3 trauma) to help with up to 15 days per month of in house surgicalist coverage. This facility is located in a charming river town with lots of culture, history, good eats and art to check out in your down time.

Details/Requirements for Assignment #85458:
» Location: western Arkansas, 50 minute drive to Fayetteville
» Active Arkansas license, Board Certification, and COVID vaccine required
» Need 10-15 days per month for 10 hour inhouse surgicalist day shifts (specific dates of coverage through Q1 - above)
» In house from 7AM - 5PM & will do scheduled surgeries while also doing inpatient rounding for trauma, acute surgical cases & hospital follow-ups
» Night call may be required on some nights following the in house shift but not all nights
» ATLS, ACLS & BLS required
» Two Nurse Practitioners as support staff
» 330+ bed facility, level 3 trauma center, EPIC EMR
» 60,000 ER visits on average, annually
» Locums to perm is an option if you're interested
