General Surgeon needed to practice rural medicine in a low stress, supportive environment in Vermont and minutes to New Hampshire. No daVinci available. Volume: 15-18 outpatient visits per day. 6-10 cases per day. . Healthcare Setting: Rural 25-critical access hospital. Outpatient clinic located on the hospital campus. OR holds - 3 operating rooms and 2 procedure rooms.. Other Providers in the department: 1MD, 1 DO, 1 PA-C. Up to $350,000 salary. Call Schedule: 1:3. EMR: Meditech. Scopes required & would prefer Pacemaker ability, but not necessary. No vascular surgery.. Community in Northeast Vermont known for it's rural charm and unspoiled beauty. Excellent public and private schools, superb skiing and 100 miles or superb mountain biking trails. The trails have been voted the best in North America. 45 minute drive to Vermont's state capital and less than 3 hours to Boston, Portland and Montreal..
