A facility in northern Michigan needs a general surgeon 7-10 days per month beginning at the end of December. Are you available?
- Local candidates only
- Dates: December 23rd - December 28th; ongoing, 7-10 days per month
- Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM; every other week, plus Tuesday or Wednesday every week
- Call: 6-8 calls per 24 hours; 50% callback, 50% phone consult
- Volume: 15,700 annual emergency volume
- Cases: adult and pediatric general surgery, trauma, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, upper and lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, chest tube insertion
- Requirements: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, active MI license, active CSR; board certification or eligibility highly preferred
- EMR: Greenway Intergy
- Credentialing: 4-6 weeks; clean background required
