A facility in Michigan is seeking a general surgeon who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately four months starting in early May. On the job, the provider will see between six and eight patients of all ages for a variety of cases: Gen adult, peds & trauma surgeries, laparoscopic surgeries (appendectomy, cholecystectomy), GI endoscopy (upper & lower, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy), Chest tube insertion and Central line insertion. The locum will be on 24 hour call from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. This facility uses Greenway EMR.
