General Surgeon needed in southcentral, Virginia to join an established multi -specialty physician group. Sovah Surgical Associates currently employs 3 General Surgeons and 1 APP. The group has an increased demand for new patients with no scheduled openings to provide surgical care to the community. Senior physician, Dr. Honea also plans his retirement within the next year and will be engaging in an ongoing sabbatical to continue his passion for missionary work. The most recent surgeon to join the practice has ramped up into a thriving practice within the last 6 months and no longer has room for the added volume.
Sovah Health Physician Practices currently employs 40+ providers on the Danville Campus & 25+ providers on the Martinsville campus. The new GS will share a newly renovated state of the art multi -specialty clinic on the Danville campus. The General Surgery Group does not currently provide endoscopy services and will be a well-established referral source. Sovah Health - Danville is a beautiful 250 bed hospital with a service area of over 125,000 people in Virginia and North Carolina. Danville is located in beautiful south central Virginia just 45 miles north of Greensboro, North Carolina.
