Dec 21 (7a) - Dec 26 (7a)
Dec 31 (7a) - Jan 2 (7a)
ongoing 2-3 weekends per month based on permanent provider's schedule
4 ICU beds
Trauma Level 4
Procedures: bread and butter general surgery procedures, must be able to do endoscopies
Daily Census varies, but about 1-2 ppd
Locums would be admitting and doing consults
Some rounding and then call
Specialty backups: Hospitalist, MD anesthesia and CRNA support
EMR: Meditech
BC General Surgery (does not need to be fellowship trained)
BLS and ACLS required
Active KY license
Credentialing: Temps can be granted to clean files
Additional Notes:
40 acute care beds
Down a weekend call FTE and are unsure if they will recruit a replacement
40 miles south of Louisville, KY
