Wound Care Physician needed in North Carolina (45 minutes from Raleigh)
This is a locum tenens position. The need starts the last week in August and will go through at least October 1st, possibly longer. Client is recruiting for perm as well.
Monday - Friday; 8a-5p; No weekends; No call.
Duties include: Hyperbaric medicine and oxygen therapy. Outpatient setting.
Procedures include: All Wound Care, surgical wound debridements; I&D; Abscess, Tcp interpretation; vacuum assisted closure devices; cauterizations; biopsy; skin substitutes.
All adult patients; average of 8-12 patients per day.
Credentialing can take up to two weeks.
