• Duration: 13 weeks
• Coverage Need: Intermittent dates throughout the assignment window, with flexible scheduling as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $13,650 - $14,620
• Practice Focus: High-volume vascular surgery coverage with outpatient and inpatient responsibilities

Job Requirements

• MD or DO degree required
• Active Illinois medical license required; IMLC not accepted
• At least 1 year of recent vascular surgery experience required
• Ability to perform both open vascular surgery and endovascular procedures
• Comfort working in a Level 1 Trauma Center and high-acuity hospital setting
• Clean background required
• Preference for local providers due to the flexible, as-needed schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide vascular surgery coverage during scheduled coverage blocks
• Perform open and endovascular procedures as clinically indicated
• Manage an average census of 5 to 10 patients per day
• Oversee approximately 6 outpatient elective procedures
• Collaborate with APPs, nursing staff, and the broader clinical team to support clinic and rounding workflows
• Deliver high-quality patient care in a busy, team-oriented healthcare environment
• Respond to shifting locum tenens coverage needs with professionalism and flexibility
