- Western Arizona Medical Center is seeking 1 Orthopaedic Surgery MD for ongoing Locum Tenens coverage starting ASAP.
- Practice setting includes both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery required; Arizona license or IMLC and DEA required.
- Approximately 5–7 patients per shift with 6 or fewer admissions.
- 100% beeper call coverage with a 15-minute response time requirement.
- Phone consults required; call covers both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Strong need for broad Orthopaedic Surgery skills, including arthroscopy, total joints, hip/knee, shoulder, hand, tendon repair, peripheral nerve, and spine.
- Temporary privileges are available with an estimated credentialing timeframe of only 5–7 days.
- No resident or APP supervision required; support includes 1 RN, 1 MA, and 1 office staff member.
- Travel support provided with Las Vegas as the nearest airport; lodging recommendation is Holiday Inn.
