This state-of-the-art facility features 135 certified beds and a Level II trauma center, providing comprehensive and advanced patient care. The facility offers 24/7 ICU coverage with intensivist and APC support, a dedicated on-site hospitalist team, and a full complement of support services, all within a positive and collaborative work culture.

Physician - Thoracic Surgery

Job Details:

  • Join a dynamic Heart & Vascular team of 14 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within an Integrated Heart and Vascular System Service Line
  • Ideal candidates are trained in adult cardiac and general thoracic surgery
  • Work alongside seasoned CT surgeons and PA support in hospital, clinic, and OR settings
  • Clinic and hospital are located in the same building, allowing seamless transitions between inpatient and outpatient activities
  • Benefit from excellent technical, nursing, and support personnel across all aspects of the practice
  • Participate in a balanced 1:3 call rotation
  • Engage in a full spectrum of surgical techniques, including open and minimally invasive/robotic surgery
  • Perform advanced esophageal, mediastinal, pulmonary, and chest wall surgeries with a focus on innovative and minimally invasive techniques
  • Utilize cutting-edge robotic technology in thoracic surgery
  • Collaborate with an experienced pulmonary team offering lung cancer screening, PFT Lab, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and minimally invasive procedures
  • Access to Medical and Radiation Oncology, Infusion Services, Genetic Counseling, Survivorship programs, and support groups
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team orientation; leadership skills are a plus
