We are seeking a General Surgeon for a locum tenens position in Ketchikan, Alaska. This is a general surgery coverage opportunity at a critical access facility serving a remote Southeast Alaska community. Please see below for more information.
- Level IV Adult Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Practice independently across the general surgery scope, managing patients from consultation through operative and postoperative care
Evaluate surgical consults and direct perioperative management
Participate in the initial evaluation and stabilization of trauma presentations consistent with a Level IV designation, coordinating transfer to higher levels of care as indicated
Document clinical care in Epic
Qualifications
Active Alaska medical license; client is willing to consider IMLC or AK locums temp licensure
Epic EMR experience required
Working Hours
No call required
