LECOM Health is seeking a General Surgeon to join a collaborative, forward-thinking practice in Erie, PA. LECOM Health is the only Osteopathic Academic Health Center in the country to include a medical school with four campuses across three states. In Western Pennsylvania, LECOM Health operates two hospitals — LECOM Medical Center, an acute care teaching hospital in Erie offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services and 24-hour emergency care, and Corry Memorial Hospital, a state-of-the-art community medical center in Corry, PA — along with a brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center.
LECOM Health Surgical Specialists is a close-knit, provider-based clinical practice currently made up of two general surgeons and dedicated support staff, working together to grow the Surgical Services line into a premier regional program with a strong emphasis on education, research, clinical care, and community service. Job Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered care to residents of Northwest Pennsylvania and surrounding areas
Collaborate with a two-surgeon team and support staff to help build and grow the Surgical Services program
Contribute to the practice's emphasis on education, research, and community service as part of an academic health center
