Academic Colorectal Surgeon - SLUCare Physician Group

SLUCare Physician Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Colorectal Surgeon to join our academic faculty practice with a primary clinical focus at SSM Health DePaul Hospital.

Position Highlights:

• Primary colorectal surgery presence at SSM Health DePaul Hospital
• Inpatient consultative and operative colorectal care
• Establish and grow an outpatient colorectal surgery clinic on the DePaul campus
• Manage complex colorectal and anorectal disease, including colorectal cancer, IBD, diverticular disease, and re-operative cases
• Collaborative practice within the SLUCare Colorectal Surgery service line
• Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards, conferences, and quality initiatives
• Close collaboration and mentorship with colleagues at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital

Academic & Clinical Environment:

• Integrated academic practice with Saint Louis University School of Medicine
• Strong multidisciplinary support and established referral base
• Opportunity to rebuild and expand a comprehensive colorectal surgery service at DePaul

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Completion of ACGME-accredited colorectal surgery fellowship
• Eligible for Missouri medical licensure
• Interest in academic practice, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary care

Practice Details:

• Full-time employed position
• Daytime schedule with call participation
