Full time
Sterling, IL
* Full-time, bread-and-butter general surgery practice in a community hospital setting
* Perform a broad range of procedures including abdominal, breast, endocrine, and limited trauma cases
* Laparoscopic surgery required; robotic surgery experience strongly preferred (robotic platform available)
* Option to incorporate endoscopic procedures if desired (not required)
* No bariatric surgery responsibilities
* Opportunity to develop focus areas such as breast surgery or non-cardiac thoracic procedures
* Access to onsite imaging and diagnostic tools including ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsies, and breast MRI
* Join a collaborative team with 3 surgeons and 1 physician assistant
* 1:4 call schedule supporting work-life balance
* Qualifications
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
* Interest in a broad-based general surgery practice
* Robotic surgery experience or willingness to learn preferred
