Position Highlights:

• 24-hour call coverage only

• Short-term assignment with immediate need

• Adult and geriatric patient population

• Straightforward general surgery case mix

• Hospital-based call setting

• 24-hour call shifts

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

• Continuous coverage for assigned dates

• Setting: Hospital

• Patient population: Adult and geriatric

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing general surgery call coverage

• Managing surgical consults and procedures

• Responding to emergent surgical needs

• Coordinating care with hospital staff and support teams

Procedures:

• General surgical cases (adult population)

• Hospital-based surgical support team

• Collaborative care environment

• Board Certified in General Surgery – required

• Active Ohio license and DEA – required (no exceptions)

• BLS & ACLS certifications – required

• Flu vaccination – required (must be noted at name clear)

• COVID vaccination – highly preferred
